Elementary school campers and staff after the final session of Basketball Fridays – a free weekly basketball clinic run by 360° Skills Academy in conjunction with the Headache 13 Foundation and Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation at Roosevelt Park in NY’s Lower East Side.

On August 5th, 360° Skills Academy completed its final session of free youth basketball clinics in Manhattan.  Students from throughout New York City’s five boroughs took part in the all-day clinics led by 360°’s staff of current and former professional basketball players.

Students ages 5 to 19 received high level, intense, age and skill appropriate instruction normally reserved only for families capable of paying expensive participation fees.  Often receiving individual attention usually found in private, cost prohibitive training sessions, the students took full advantage of the opportunity to learn valuable lessons from coaches that can be used both on and off the court.

Many of the students attended the sessions thanks to their enrollment in the Sports & Arts in Schools Foundation’s free summer camp program.  Thanks to SASF, each of the 5 sessions were completely free to all participants.
